Sergio Vulpe

Designer & Conceptual Crafter

Furniture as Thought

Form as Statement

No compromises

I am Sergio Vulpe,
a designer and crafter shaped on the periphery and in the collapse of the Soviet era. My vision emerged from the contrast between harsh reality and the search for beauty in simple forms. Since 2014, I have been creating conceptual furniture where each piece becomes a statement.

In my work, natural materials meet inner drama. Craft and philosophy transform wood, stone, and metal into art — and form into a
reflection of an era.

Brutalist Collection
Brutalist Collection
Brutalist Collection — furniture born from an original texturing technique, where wood gains raw power and noble shades. Each piece emphasizes the natural strength of centuries-old oak, turning its surface into a bold relief with a pronounced texture, leaving no place for smoothness or compromises.
This is not just furniture — it is a manifesto of form and energy, a release of inner force. In every detail you can feel the directness and courage instilled by the maker. The collection is created for those who choose strength, honesty of texture, and the expressiveness of raw surfaces that become an artistic statement.

Nature Collection
Nature Collection
Nature Collection — furniture crafted from cross-sections of roots and solid logs. Expressive organic forms preserve the natural relief and the living grain shaped by nature itself.
Each piece highlights the uniqueness of the material without disrupting its logic. Maximum preservation of texture and structure turns nature’s imprint of time into the foundation of form.
Raw forms shaped by time, not by force.

Hexagon Collection
Hexagon Collection
I created the Hexagon collection in 2022, working with solid oak and 3D mosaic surfaces where form defines rhythm and depth.
Volumetric hexagons highlight the natural grain of the wood, turning facades into an interplay of light, shadow, and material.

Urmé Collection
Urmé Collection
Urmé is built on manual work, where each gesture remains visible. The surface preserves the rhythm of the hand, turning repetition into texture.
The collection rejects polish and symmetry, valuing presence and honesty. Every mark left behind becomes part of the final form.
